Hi there! My name’s Whitney and God has given me so many reasons for joy. It’s my hope that through this blog I can share some of these with you, that this blog might be one reason for joy in your life, and that it might inspire you to open your eyes to the reasons for joy that God has given you in your life.
I grew up in small-town, Pennsylvania, went to school at Grove City College, then went to get my M.A. in TESOL at Biola University in California. My plan was to stay in the U.S. and teach English to adults, but God had other plans. Slowly but surely He worked my heart towards the nations, so now that I’ve graduated from Biola I’m heading out.
Now I’m living in Kathmandu, Nepal where I’m teaching English to Primary school kids at a local school called KISC - Kathmandu International Study Centre. Check out my blog posts to hear all about my adventures here in Nepal and about how faithful God has been in this chapter of my life. He has guided me here and continues to equip me for his service.
